Your privacy is the foundation of MyCalmNest. We created this app to be a calm, confidential companion for students navigating stress and overwhelm. Our commitment is to provide a secure space where you can reset, refocus, and move forward with confidence, knowing your personal information is protected.

1. No Sharing or Selling of Your Data

We do not sell or rent your personal information or conversation history to third parties for their own marketing purposes. To host, secure, operate, and improve MyCalmNest, we may share limited information with trusted service providers who work on our behalf—for example, to run our infrastructure, protect the service, process payments where applicable, deliver AI-generated responses within the app, and measure traffic on certain public-facing pages of our website. Those providers may only use the information we share as needed to perform services for us and are expected to protect it consistent with this policy and applicable law.

2. Data Confidentiality & Purpose

All conversations you have within this app are treated as confidential. Your messages are used to generate AI responses within the app. If you are logged in, your conversations may be saved to your account so you can return to your chat history or continue your progress. We do not sell your conversation history or share it with third parties for their own marketing, advertising, or independent use, and your conversations are not used to train our AI models.

3. Security and Encryption

All communications between you and the app are encrypted using HTTPS. We use secure industry-standard protocols to keep your data safe from unauthorized access.

4. No Account Linking or Advertising

We do not serve ads, and we do not use your information for advertising purposes. We do not link your MyCalmNest data to advertising networks for targeted advertising. On certain public pages of our website (such as marketing and informational pages), we use limited analytics to understand overall traffic and how those pages perform. That measurement is separate from your private use of the app and is not used to sell ads or to profile you for marketing across the web.

5. No Tracking Beyond Your Session

We do not track you across other websites or apps for targeted advertising, and we do not use MyCalmNest to follow your browsing activity on unrelated sites for ad profiling. On select public pages of our website, we do use limited analytics to understand visits and site performance. We do not use those same analytics tools on private chat pages or other sensitive in-app areas such as emotion selection, profile, or conversation history while you are using the service for support.

6. Website Analytics and Cookies

On certain public pages of the MyCalmNest website, we use Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors find and use those pages. Google Analytics may use first-party cookies or similar technologies to measure visits and sessions. It may collect limited technical and usage information such as pages viewed, page URL and title, browser and device characteristics, and approximate location derived from IP address where available. We do not enable Google Analytics on private chat pages, login or registration flows, profile or history screens, emotion selection, or other sensitive in-app experiences. We do not use analytics data for targeted advertising.

7. Your Control

You may close or delete your account at any time. When you do, all account-related data will be permanently removed from our systems.

8. Age Requirement

MyCalmNest is intended only for users who are 18 years of age or older. Users under 18 are not permitted to create accounts.

9. Necessary Third-Party Services

To provide our service, we must rely on a few trusted, industry-leading third-party services. We are transparent about what they are and how they are used. We use Heroku for hosting our application, Google Cloud for AI processing, Cloudflare for security and performance, Google Analytics on limited public website pages for traffic and performance measurement, and Stripe only for legacy billing management or for payment processing if optional paid features are introduced in the future. 10. Geographic Restrictions

This app is intended for use only by individuals within the United States. We do not knowingly offer our services to users outside of the U.S.
